How Can I put a chat room on a groups page?

I am the Moderator of it...not the owner. Can I still put a chatroom on? or does it have to be the owner? AND I have a different group that I would like to put on on there also, but I am owner of this other one.....So Please tell me how. Thanks.

Yahoo discontinued the chat feature on groups a long time back.  You can chat with others or in chat rooms using Yahoo Messenger. Go to http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/messeng...

Because Yahoo Groups no longer offers a chat feature what some group owners are doing is using a site called Chatzy.  The owner of one of the groups where I'm a member of is using this site for group chats and really likes the site.

you should ask the owner of the one group. we use chatzy.com and add the link.
