How Can You Restart A Computer From "Disk Drive" To Install A Different Operating System?

I've Heard This Many Times And From What I Know, One Can Only Restart Manually, Is There A Device You Install To The Computer To Do This, Or Is It A Driver, A Program What Is It? Please Help!!

Right click my computer and see if you have 2 drives listed as C and D if so is the D drive when click say these are recovery files and should not be opened. If so then you can use the at startup it should give you the option to start the bios say F2 or like recovery F?? then hit F?? and it should start the install of the OS that it came with. It will erase everything back to when you 1st had computer new. If it does not have a drive like that and you have a Windows XP / Vista cd then you can put in the cd and reboot the computer it should come up with hit any key to boot from the cd then it should start the install. When it reboots it will say hit any key to boot from the CD again( DO NOT HIT ANY KEY) just let it go through the process and it will install the fresh OS. Thanks

Ya insert the OS disk. Then click for booting from disk.

Else go to bios and change the booting priority as 1. cd/dvd atapi rom

2. Hard drive

then load from the disk,

if you want to keep 2 different op system you can but it is not recommend and your pc will be too slow if you have no problem with it just put the cd in to the cd rom when it start installing it will ask you where you want to install just use different partition will help you not to remove the previous one which you have after you finish you can start the pc then it will ask you which one you want to use you can choose what ever you want ,but you can use only one op system one at a time if your pc is not starting you must to change the sequence of starting in the bios thirds you will find it turn your pc when you turn it just click f1 until you see the bios when it open the bios go start up if the hard drive is second change to first then cd rom if you have floppy third save it and restart the you get the point well down good luck.
