Just want to wish our neighbors, and a lot of my relatives, a Happy Canada Day on July 1.  .......I read the link and you are probably right.  In the U.S., I'm afraid we have fallen for a lot of clever marketing and have become too materialistic.  Personally, I pay off my credit cards every time I have a balance, but most people don't.  Credit cards are not good for impulsive people.
