How Come It is so hard to find Red/Blue plastic army men

Question

i know that Greens and tans and sometimes grays are easy to find but the only red and blues i can find are cops and firemen, so the only way i can get them is sticking green army men in paint, does anyone know where the reds are?

The question as to why the army men are only in green and tan is because that is what sold.... back in the 60's and early 70's they tried making army men in various different colors {psychedelica} but they tanked...mainly due to the confusion by the children as to who were the good guys and who were the bad guys...

and it wasn't just army men that got the plastic treatment-- there were also cowboys and indians and knights in armour { I found the knights to be my favorites... they were very detailed and posed }

its hard to find green army men beacause  green army men are the main colors. in three batches of colors (red, green,blue) green sold the most. Now most companies make green. too but reds, go to a dollar store (very rare) or go to toys r us in staten island (saw it once)
