How Did they manage an unhappy customer?

Hi There,

I had my dinner today,15-08-08 Friday,at AMK Pizzahut Branch around 7plus pm together with my partner as I wanted to try the Starbites Cheesy Extreme.The server was good in their customer service at the beginning of our dinner.I had placed my order of starbites cheesy extreme meal and add on of the drumlets.The waitress told us( malay girl-don't what is her name)that the pizza would take about 15-20min.So we had our SOD and drumlet as a start. When our pizza finally arrived it was not as what we ordered.I told the Malay girl that served our pizza it was not our order but she just walk off without checking for us.I waited for 5 mins before I saw the Asst Manager on duty and inform him about our pizza.He took the pizza away and told us it would take about 7 mins to re-do our pizza.We waited and waited and almost 45 mins for the 2nd pizza to come.And finally when our pizza was ABOUT to be served the waiter drop our pizza while on the way to our table.I understand that accidents bound to happen but why didn't The waiter come to us immediately to inform about the delay?why wait until he was serving the next table then he came and tell us that he drop the pizza while on the way to be served???Pissed with waiting for so long,I told my partner that's it..Im not going to wait for long...Imagine I'm being hungry and wanting to have my dinner with my loved one was spoilt by this!!!!!!!!! Even the Asst Manager on duty didn't came to us and offer us any apology or even other snacks that could fill our stomach while waiting on for the 3rd PIZZA!!!! I went up straight to the cashier and told the Asst Manager that that's it..Im not going to wait for long...While waiting for the bill the Asst Mngr was telling me that itz only a slice of the pizza that falls off and I told him how long do you expect me to wait??? Im truly disappointed in the way the Asst Mngr handles an upset customer.No service recovery was done.No sorry was also said to us and the waitress that took our order and key in the wrong order just went MISSING without any explaination. It was indeed a DISAPPOINTING EVENING FOR US.

  1. I agree with you that Pizza Hut gives bad customer service. Although their menu and promotional methods are attractive, when you walk into any of their branch, you will get disgusted by the working attitude of the service crew.

  3. You can file a complain at the head management office for such service and get your money back if you did pay. Hearing about your incident, I ma not going there anymore.

  4. All you can really do is tell everyone you know not to eat there and never eat there again yourself.

    I don't think that is the only place in this world serve this way,

    many others also...

    Your situation many have gone thru....

    But you can't because of one tree say the forest is not good..that

    you don't want to go there anymore...

    It is just you saw the bad side of it....

  6. I think that experience was very poorly handled by the people in the restaurant.  That would tell me that they don't appreciate my business.  Therefore, I would never go back.

    As far as a complaint, I complained recently about an experience at Pizza Hut.  I contacted corporate.  The DM did call me to apologize.  However, no coupons or vouchers were offered.  I felt that with what I experienced, something should have been offered.  I have a very poor opinion of Pizza Hut management at the present time.

  7. I think the part of this story can make customer angry is, the waitress and waiter didn't come and apologise. Moral of the story the waitress, waiter and asst mngr doesn't showing their respondsibility to their customer. But for me, i will not showing angry, pay the bill and just walk away. I will just not going to this pizza hut again.  

  8. haha.. last time we also wanted to try the Starbites Cheesy Extreme from Pizza Hut. So we had it delivered at home and it took more that 45 minutes for the pizza to arrive... Oh and before that, the girl who took the call hung up before i was even finished talking and clarifying something.

  10. well, you should talk to the manager of the restaurant.  Tell them exaclty what happened, then go from there.

    There will be a customer feedback option on the corporate website.

    Well, it's indeed a poor customer service from this AMK Pizza Hut Branch and something need to be done. Feedback to the Top management !

    Also, inform or warn your family,relatives, friends and others about this place so that such incident will not happen again to them.

    thrid, good luck.  pizza hut has screwed my family over a few times, and not once was anything ever done about it other than getting a phone call from district saying something would be done.

  14. sorry i didn't read this, but is it true that in singapore.. chewing gum is illage but PROSTITUTIAN is not..so somebody can pick up a prostitute, next to a police station. but can't chew gum...what if the guys a trying to quit smoker?...what will happen if you arechewing gum..JAIL?...can you chew and throw in bin.... BTW i don't smoke
