How Do I Become A Paladin/Dark Knight on mabinogi?

How do i become a dark knight on mabinogi?

I think i have to become a paladin first.

if i do where do i become a paladin (and how do i become a dark knight?)

And when i do become one is there a way to become something else?

paladin/dark knight are transformations. when transformed, u receive a skill and a stat boost, depending on ur transformation. did u ever heard of the Generation Mainstream Quests (also called master quests)? we r currently in G3, and theres 3 mainstream storylines. to become a paladin, u MUST complete generation 2's Mainstream quest (after completing it, theres a cutscene and u become paladin). finishing G3's mainstream allows u to become DarkKnight. remember that u must have finished/skipped G1 and G2 to go in G3 mainstream (skipping is not suggested, since mainstream quests are very fun). when u complete G3 as a paladin, ull be asked if u want to stay as a paladin or become a darkknight. remember, u can only be 1 at the time, and once u become darkknight, theres no turning-back to paladin. remember that in order to do mainstream quests, u must have purchased 1 of the 3 premium service in the cash shop (nao's suppor, advanced play, or extra storage). each costs 10k nx for a month. when ur sevice runs out, ur mainstream quests will vanish, and ull hafta re-buy the service to do them.

paladins are knights of the light (not nececerly good)

dark knights are knights of the darkness (not evil, mabinogi staff comfirmed they were Chaotic)

Becoming a paladin just requires the completion of G2, or if skipping G2, going through a particular quest to achieve the skill (which as I've heard, is harder than the original quest to get the armor in G2).  Dark Knights aren't available in the US yet, but they should be by G3S4 (I'm guessing, December-January-ish) - yes, you need to be a paladin to become a Dark Knight, and I'm fairly sure one has to complete G3 before being allowed to undertake the quest to become a Dark Knight.

I'm not sure what the quest is for becoming a Dark Knight is yet, since it's not out, but hopefully others who've played other Mabinogi versions will know.
