How Do I Convince my Mom to get a hamster

How Do I Convince my Mom to get a hamster...she says it the reason were in a condo but about 11 people in my condo have pets..and i can take care of it cause i had a fish for 2 monhs and it's still alive...soo HELP

I'm really tired of these "How can I convince my parents to get me a puppy/kitten/goldfish/brother/whatever" questions. Your mom gets to make the decisions, not you. Deal with it.

Well talk to her about how resposible you can be. I had a hampster. You have to show her you won't be afraid of it and you will take good care of it. Hampsters are alot of work compared to a fish. You have to hold it, feed it, give it water, and more. Plus you have to clean out the bedding. Just because your fish is still alive doesn't neccicarily mean you can take care of a hamster, and I think that is why your mom won't let you have one. Keep trying and start doing extra work on you fish like cleaning it's cage every week. Do research on fish to show her you really can take care of a hamster. You may even learn new things along the way to getting your hamster.

I believe the best way to convince your mom to allow you to get a hamster is to take on more responsibility around the house. If you receive an allowance, save up all of your money to pay for it (the hamster, food, cage, etc.). Once you have saved up enough money and have proved to your mother that you are dedicated to this and responsible, she might let you get one. Also, do research about them so you can be knowledgeable on the animal and what it takes to care for them.  

Also, a fish does not really require all of the maintenance that a hamster does. They need clean water/food, regular cleaning of the cage, and a lot of time playing with people to keep them social and not scared/aggressive. Do your research, see what it takes to keep a happy hamster, then see if you still are dedicated.

Get some poster board and glue pictures and facts about hamsters on it. (decorate it to!)

make a speech about how responsible you are and will do the best you can to take care of a hamster.

Or clean your room like every 2 days or something.

Save up a lot of money and show how much you have.
