Question:

How Do I Cope With My Moody Boyfriend?

Hi there

I need some help. My boyfriend goes into moods after we have had a disagreement and he won't talk or communicate with me at all. This can last for hours, days or even weeks. He shouts at me and tells me to leave him alone but I find this very difficult. To me it seems a completely unreasonable reaction to issues which are sometimes quite small. If the cause of his mood is my fault I say sorry but this doesn't have any impact. His mood get worse and worse the longer it goes on and so I find it hard to give him what he wants and not talk to him. But if I push him it ends up in a row but the advantage of this is that he comes out of his mood quicker. Please can someone give me some advice on the best way to handle his moods?

  1. That is very adolescent of him to be acting this way. I would get out of that relationship. That problem probably goes further than the icing on the cake. If he thinks the way to punish someone is by taking their attention and affection away, someone probably did this to him as a child. He may be more messed up in the head than you know. Please don't be one of those girls who thinks they can fix their boyfriends either. Honestly they have to make the change for them self. I would get out while you can safely.
