How Do I Find Out Whose Phone Number This Is?

someone called my mobile the other day, and it's a number in an area close to where i live... it's pretty important that i find out who called me, but i don't know how to find out.

are there any websites i can go to? is it even possible to find someone with just their phone number?

***please don't say the phone book!!*** i've tried, and it hasn't helped.

hey just call the number ask what they wanted

call it or try yellowpages.com and click find a person

Call 1471 and they will tell you

Type the number into google....usually it comes up with at least one hit. If not, you can do a reverse phone number look up online. There are free ones out there...so don't pay for it. It won't tell you exactly who called, but it'll give you the city, and more info sometimes.
