How Do I Format my Camera Memory Card???

Question

i was told not to delete the pictures of my camera's memory card, but to format them. How do i format them, using the Kodak Easy Share program, or another way???

Make sure you have all of your pictures safely in your computer.    Read your instruction book to learn how to format your card.  You will find it in your menu someplace.

Formatting refreshes the card and writes new file folders and a new image index file.

Deleting replaces the first symbol of the file name with a $, but leaves the rest ... this can eventually corrupt the files
