How Do I Get A Star Rank In Mario Cart Wii?

I have beat the whole game and now i am going back to try and get a star ranking. i got first place in every race and still got an A ranking. i don't understand

U have to kill on every match. Never let your opponents catch up to u. U must be at 1st place after every Lap. I still need stars for a few Mirror Mode Cups.

You need to play online ALOT! win atleast 50 races in a row or less and you should have your star rank in no time!

you need to be able to stay first for the majoritiy of the races, also beat the rest of the group by atleast 3-5 seconds.

you have to have first in every race and in every course

for example:

Mushroom race you need first in all four of the course, must stay first as long a possible and through out most of the race. finish first and beat the rest by a good couple of seconds.

it takes time and patience. I am still working on getting star rankings in 150cc courses.
