My Daughter Maria Was At School And She Hit Another Lil Girl And I Know I Taught Her Better Then That And I Really Don't Know What To Do Becuase I Dont Spank Her And Her Dad Doesnt Ether And I Dont Want Her To Hit Her Little Sister Who Is 1 So Plz Someone Help Me

For many children of this age it is a phase that they soon give up. Kindergarteners are so busy absorbing their environment and pick up bad habits. Work with the teacher to ensure that your daughter knows it is not acceptable at any time to show physical violence to another child.

Does your daughter watch cartoons or anything on tv that depicts violence? Kids are like sponges.

What did the school do for a punishment? I believe school issues should be dealt with at school, not at home.

draw up a reward chart for each day of the week put 6 colums in each day of the week. explain to her that for each nice thing she does each day eg being helpful round the house, not fighting with her sister, tidying her room or toys etc that she will earn a star and that for every nughty thing she does that a star she has earned will be removed. tell her that if she manages to fill the chart by the end of the week that she'll get a surprise eg going to the park, cinema, sweets or any other little treats. this should encourage her to improve her behaviour and when she can actually see the stars she is realising that she is getting praise for being a good girl and she should improve dramatically. but be prepared for a screaming match if you remove a star for bad behaviour but warn her that if she continues to give out that you will remove an extra star for ever two minutes of her tantrum. i hope this helps.
