Question:

How Do I Get to the Toronto Zoo using TTC?

I'm new to Toronto, and I already know that there's 2 bus routes that go to the Toronto Zoo, 86A Scarborough and the 85 Sheppard East, but the only problem is I'm not sure where to catch those busses? I live near the corner of Dundas West and Dufferin, how would I get to the zoo using the TTC from my place? And approximately how long would it take to get there?

  1. 86A goes from Kennedy, and 85A/85B Sheppard East from Don Mills.

From where you are, it will be quicker to go via Kennedy. Take the #29 bus north to Bloor, and get on the subway (you're at Dufferin station). Go east to Kennedy, then take the 86A bus east to the zoo.

The trip will take an hour and a half or so.

  2. go ttc.com

  3. Check out this Google map, it has all TTC subway, streetcars and bus lines over it...

I would say it would take you anywhere from 1.5 to 2 hours.

  4. What ever way you choose, take the subway, you will save time.
