How Do I Go To The Next Line When Writing A Text On A LG Phone?

Ive got a LG Shine phone and i used to have a LG Chocolate phone and i never worked out how to go to the next line when im writing a text and i still dont know

is sure its really simple

Hiya Sophiee! Whilst you are texting,just press space on your keypad! The message will continue to your next word,and so on!

I dont know what you mean by going to the next line. If you are texting a paragraph, it should format it for you.
