  1. Ah, that's not good. Cutting your own hair w/o anybody's help can be a disaster and if you're a hair stylist then i'm sure it'll grow. But you probably have the same problem i did. I chopped my hair hoping it'd look the way i wanted it to. I got layers myself without thinking of going to a salon. Of course, i like money so i tend to choose cheap things and do it on my own. But now i've learned and my hair looks exactly i want it to be. When you trim your hair make sure you cut it in a V shape [if you can, if you can't reach, seriously GO TO A SALON or ask someone you really trust]. If you didn't do that, it' kinda obvious why your hair won't grow, a lot of your split ends aren't well cut. Trim your hair every 6-8 weeks and make sure it's well hydrated. If you're hair is dry that is. If you have oily hair, it's actually easier to grow hair. So i'd recommend Indian coconut oil to make your hair grow longer if you have dry hair. If you have damaged hair, again, go to a salon, treat your hair. You can't grow hair w/ breakage and split ends.

And last but not least, BE PATIENT! Hair takes a while to grow for some people. If it didn't take a while for you then, then you just have to follow what i said above. Other than that, just wait, it'll grow dramatically in 4-6 months if you have oily hair if not longer.
