I am about 5''4-5''5.. i am a very unselfish player. I pass alot, can shoot the ball and can go for a hot streak. I have ball handling and is really fast. Nobody can guard me because i'm too quick. Now i just need the moves to attack the rim and how to guard a taller player

  1. Watch a lot of Allen Iverson and CP3,

on guarding bigger players, try and put your arms straight up, do go for fakes, stay in front of them and try and draw the charge

i'm pretty much the same player as you, 5'5'' (and a half) 140 lbs., very fast with handle, can jump  high, my shot could be better though and i mold myself after Jason Kidd, i love passing, just orchestrating seeing the team do well

what i do is watch Penny Hardaway and Jason Kidd

  2. If you that quick the crossover should be your best friend. Just work in combo moves, For example if the crossover doesn't work go between the legs and keep doing move after move until you get to the hole. Or crossover step-back and shoot. And the whole Power Forward thing, if your coach puts you on him he's an idiot. If it happens in the game you have either deny him from getting it at all. Or be quick enough to time the pass for a steal. Lastly, when he turns to make his move rip it out 4 a jumpball.

  3. you hold the jersey of the taller player just make sure the ref doesn't see you...

  4. A few things to keep in mind when playing players taller than you.

    1) You should have the quickness advantage stay in front of them.  DO NOT go for pump fakes, they can shoot over you anyway.  Just move your feet and stay in front of them

    2) Being shorter you have the lower center of gravity.  So unless this person is outweighing you by 50+ lbs, or really stronger than you, you will have the advantage in leverage.  Believe it or not you have the advantage in the post up game.  They will not be able ot back you down as easily, and should have to settle for shooting over you or trying to make  a move around you.  Now you just revert back to rule #1.

Its easier to say than do but if you keep those things in mind all the time you should have no problem guarding taller players unless like i said they are significantly heavier or stronger than you are.

  5. watch chris paul mixes on you tube. also watch other great players as well. there one move going on a fast break, with the ball in your right hand, fake it the left then bring the ball around to your back and side step for the lay up. There are many moves out there. work on your spins. they are very useful;. and UTILIZE your pivot foot.  As for guarding big guys, keep a well balance posture. your your wieght and extend your arm out to his back. hand in the face and time your swat. you cant afford to leave your feet either, so go for the block of you know he doesnt use pump fakes or you know you can get it.

  6. in D'n someone bigger than you, you get BIG on them the best you can. get strong, put the forearm on them and make it hard 4 them to back you down. lil trick is 2 put ur knee behind they knee when they start the dribble to back u down. cant get good positioning with the knees buckling. b4 they get into good post position have ur stance that ur forcing them 2 back u down in a area u wanted them to go like if he's a righty position urself that he would have to finish left. do any of those till help on D comes from your team mates. or a la Charles Barkley u pull the chair out from them. let them start to post u up n put the weigh on you when they back u down, the just step over to the side of them n watch them fall lol. legal move. shouldn't had put their whole weight on u like u a seat or something lol. they think twice of posting you up again lol.

  7. well first of all, its all in your head, if you say you cant do it then you cant do it, if you say you guard the PF when his posting up you can, all you do is be tougher, toughness beats strong any day just like handwork beats talent any day! now go out there and show them wat ur made of, i am 5'8 and weigh 130 and i drive it in knowing they can't stop me, if you have that mentality you will be unstoppable
