Question:

How Do I Keep Feeder Fish?

Would feeder guppies/minnos be able to live in a basic goldfish setup? Like one of those 5g starter kits. Can they live together without killing eachother and how many can live in a 5-10g tank?

I don't have them yet. I'm getting them after I get my snakes (2) next week.

Any answer will be helpful, thanks!

  1. IVE GOT NO IDEA WHAT A FEEDER FISH IS!

So i'm gonna tell you. to put one of the guppies in they tank wiht the feeder fish. if he dies or gets  eaten then dont put them together.

  2. A 5 gallon tank would normally only house about 3 guppies but if you are keeping them short term just for feeding then probably 10 would survive.  You'd need to do frequent partial water changes.

If you are planning on keeping them to breed your own feeders then you'll need at least a 20 gallon tank for the adults and another 5 or 10 gallon to put the fry in.

  3. Just put the feeder in with the guppies. no prob. Just make sure they you dont feed the snakes the guppies.

  4. USE THE FORCE! LOOK AT THE FISHY! LOOK AT IT REALLY MEANLLY AND SAY
