How Do I Keep Spiders Away From Me in a House Nobody's Been in For Months?

There's a house nobody has been in for months and I'm wanting to go in for a little while but keep the spiders off me. Yes the house is ours, but the bathroom floor is nonexistant, so nobody has been inside for a while.

go to the store and get yourself some hedge apples.  Most grocery stores carry them.  Place them all around the house.  For some reason, spiders hate them.

get one of the bug bombs...............let it off and close all doors.....after about 3 hours open windows...........then go in......this stuff seeps into cracks and crevices....
