How Do I Know Which School Bus to Get On?

This is kind of dumb, but I am completely clueless. I am going to school next week and I have to take a bus home. My sister attended the same high school a three years ago and took a bus to and from school, but she does not remember which bus and I'm pretty sure it changed. So now, I need to find out which bus do I take to get home. Should I call the school? The transportation department? Or do they have it posted when the students arrive at the bus loading area? I'm very confused.
