  1. Get some Rick Pino music and allow them to worship however they want to (dancing, jumping, shouting), study the book of Daniel and show how young Daniel was when he was taken from his family and all the things he had to go through, show how King David was chosen...more over be honest with them.  My church children's pastor has been having Lock-In's from K-5 and challenging the kids to read their Bibles and write down visions.  The revival is going to come on our children and ripple up.  Plug them in!!!

  2. The only thing I ever found fun about church was youth group. Sitting through a sermon was, and is still, very hard for me. There is no way to get around that. The only way, as a child, my parents could get me to sit still was to bring some crayons or at least a pen or pencil so I could doodle on some paper.

  3. Play weird ice breaker games. Get pizza and soda. Maybe have a fun night in which you guys watch movies, listen to music, and play games. Maybe have Outburst Bible Trivia competitions. Make a game out of learning the Bible. But of course still leave time for worship and Bible study. God Bless =].

  4. The church I used to visit had a great youth pastor.  His youth group was very popular.  He always had fun non-church related things going on like boys night out and girls night out to different places, movie nights, weekend and day trips.  It was a poor area so he had to get very creative.  He made sure that every time he made sure every knew his beliefs and talked about god, but he talked about other things too.  He welcomed everyone who came, no matter what.  And he helped everyone as much as he could.  It rubbed off on the kids.

  5. If kids see that you are having fun at church, they will have fun also. I take my kids to church every Sunday they go to Sunday school then meet up with us for the service. The music is contemporary and this is fun for the kids ( 10,14,18 ). Kids also love to lead! I get them to lead a Vacation Bible school class, they love being in charge and usually the curriculum is all set out for them. After that they want to learn more. Sunday school is so different today then it was when I was younger, they make all the stories in the bible come to life. Then tie it into today for the kids! I think that is the key, making it real for what is going on in there life!

  6. I go to church every sunday with my parents and its always like the same routine..and it gets boring..but recently ive also been going to my friends church bc i felt it was more interesting bc the pator really related to all the teens and kids, wel it was life-teen mass, but honestly this may sound bad but i dont usually like this kinda stuff but wow i really enjoyed myself. At this mass there were amazing songs that i now love to listen to and the readings were easier and more fun to understnd and listen to bc he would relate it and give examples and real life events..i donno  it just seemed more like he was talking to us as one instead of just lecturing like in a classroom.

  7. The book "Armed and Dangerous" deals with problems kids face today and they have the verses in the bible right there. Have them pic a topic and study it. Thats what my class does and its fun.

  8. buy them some strippers

  9. let them do activitys about what they are learnng about maybe watch a movie or even do like a fun or exciting worksheet! hope that helped and god bless!!!!(:

  10. Talk to the kids and teens to see what they want out of the church, then have them come up with a game plan on how to get it done.
