How Do I Make My Cockatiel Breed Faster?

i have two cockatiels that are really in love and i just put in a box......but they wont go in......how long do i need the box in there for and how can i make them breed faster?

You can't rush reproduction.

They may be too young/old, not completely comfortable in their environment, not getting enough daylight hours, not on a proper diet...etc.

If it happens, it happens.  But you don't sound as though you know too much about breeding cockatiels.  Are you sure this is something you want to take on?  It's a lot of work, there are many possible complications that will need emergency avian vet attention and if it does work, and you end up with healthy chicks...what will you then do with them?

You really don't want to rush them. Give them time and if they haven't bred before they might not be ready.

You might want to talk to some other breeders.

You might also want to check out a bird forum such as this one http://www.myjungle.net/forum that way you can talk to other bird owners, and bird breeders.

You can also go here http://myjungle.net and check out the bird breeder directory and see if there are any bird breeders listed near you.

YOU SHOULDNT HURRY IT IT TAKES A FEW MONTHS I USED TO HAVE THREE COCKATEILS NOW WE HAVE  IT TAKE 3-5 MONTHS
