How Do I Make My Y! A Profile PrivatE?

· To hide your Questions & Answers from non Contacts/Fans, click on your avatar/screen name to open your YA profile.

Click 'Edit my Info'

Scroll down to ‘Privacy’ / ‘Yahoo! Answers Network’… until you see these 2 options.

** On my public profile, hide my Q&A from people not in my Answers Network

** On my public profile, hide my Answers Network from people who are not in it

SELECT or MARK them to make your Q&A private.

Click 'Preview/OK'

Answer questions the best as you can to advance to a higher level. You earn 2 points when you answer. You earn 10 points + 1 point per thumbs up (max. 50 points) when your answer is picked as Best Answer.

This way you can easily advance to a higher level.

In terms of your questions and answers:

Click on your avatar on the far left corner of most Yahoo Answers pages OR click on the "My Profile" link on the far, upper right corner of the page. This takes you to your Y/A profile page.

Click "Edit My Info" in the upper left box. Scroll down to the privacy section and check the options:

- On my public profile, hide my Q&A from people not in my Answers Network

- On my public profile, hide my Answers Network from people who are not in it

Click the "Preview" button and then the "OK" button.

As for the rest, you can click "Edit My Profile" and choose not to let people e-mail you and etc. in the Privacy section.

The only thing you can do is keep the Questions and Answers private by clicking the edit profile button then selecting the relevant options,  You cant stop people visiting your profile but you can restrict what info can be seen.
