How Do I Make Myself Fall Asleep?

My best friend has just come from england to visit me. Hes gone to sleep because hes jet lagged. but i'm all over excited and hyper so i cant sleep! any ideas?

  1. Interesting I was just talking to someone via IM, on the same subject. What works every time is to concentrate on your breathing, after about 7mins you will be asleep.  




  2. Listen to slow, gentle music on your music player in bed

    Plenty of time to show your friend around your City, but you need to rest beforehand

  3. lay still and keep your eyes closed. Try not to think about your friend.

  5. squeeze every muscle in your body as hard as you can for 10 seconds then relax for 10 seconds then squeeze every muscle again for 10 seconds then relax for 10 seconds do this until you feel tiered oh and well your doing this keep your eyes closed good luck sleeping  

  6. Meditate. It takes along time, but you can train your body to relax on command.

  7. get off the internet. dont listen to music. dont read. dont do anything. just go to lay on your bed you may have many thoughts but before you know it, it will be the next day.  im saying this from similar experience  

  8. breathe deep, we were taught it relaxes you.
