Question:

How Do I Read My Water Bill?

My water bill looks like this:

Previous 4900

Current 4940

Usage 40

Multiplier 3.50

Units 10G

My interpretation is that my volume used in gallons is therefore 40*3.50*10 G = 1400 G. Can someone confirm or correct this? The charge for the water itself is $5.53, which comes out to 0.395 cents per gallon, which seems like a reasonable number. The bill is from ISTA.

  1. wait for the bill then break it down per day why make things complicated

  2. Pay it in person and ask them. They can explain it in detail.
