How Do I Shrink A Shirt? Its too big?

Okay so i bought some p.e. clothing and i thought the shirt was perfect size until i went home and tried it on. I exchanged my pants but i didnt know that my shirt was too big so i didnt exchange it. P.e. starts next week and the p.e. teacher may get pissed if i don't have my shirt o.O but if i exchange it i would have to go to the boy's locker room o.o and last friday the yarduty said that this was the last time i could go in there o.o. Okay to be more clear the shirt is 99% cotton and 1% other materials >:O how do i shrink it? i dont wanna go to the boys locker room becuz i may get yelled at :(

Try washing it in hot water...then put it in the dryer.  99% cotton means it will probably shrink.  Good luck.

Wash the shirt in hot water, then put it in the dyer! That should shrink it some.

Hot water would shrink it but it might fade it too much.

I'd take the shirt back.  If you get yelled at, report it.  You have a legit reason for being there.

wash it  in the washer. then dry it
