Question:

How Do I Stop Being so Talkative in School.?

I'm tired of being the person that talks to everyone and makes jokes and comments about everything in class. I do it involuntarily, like if something kind of funny happens, or if someone says something, I usally make a comment or joke about it without even thinking about it, it just comes out.

I want to be the shy, and reserved guy that no one talks to...any ideas? I've tried just not saying anything, and it's almost irresistible.

  1. Focus on the classwork or what the teacher is saying...you also get the benefit of better grades as well.

  2. Wanting to comment on everything happening around is impulsive. When there is element of humour, people laugh. This response is mistaken for encouragement and one tends to comment where even unwarranted. You should try to consciously avoid commenting.
