How Do I Structure My Ice Skating Time? Please Help?

Hey Im Hellen

Im 13

Im A Level 4 Figure Skater and A Level 6/7 Dance Skater.

I Skate 6 Times A week; 3 days Figure and 3 Days Dance

Could Anyone Please take The Time To Try And Make A Ice Practice Structure Time Because i Never No What to Practise And How To Practise.

find Spins Hard, Cannot Do A Back Sit Any Tips?

Dance: How Should I Practise Edges?

Is There A Website That Teaches new Harder Dances?

    I agree with Icesk8er.  Get a notebook, decorate if you'd like and bring it to the next session with your coach.  Ask her to write down what you need to work on and thing to remember as you work.  It has been a great thing for my daughter and many others at our ice rink.

    If you currently don't have a private coach ask a coach who sees you in class a lot of you can have one private session with her/him to work on something like you are asking for.

    We are reluctant to set anything for you because we don't know you.  But you have the right idea when you point out that for you spins are hard.  You already know that is what you need to be working on...

  3. I would suggest talking to your coach about what would be best for you to structure your practice time, and time off of the ice. My coach made up a notebook of things for me to practice, every 15 minutes I would work on something different, which she had written down in a small notebook that I could bring on the ice with me that way I spent my time wisely, and got the best time out of my practice.
