Why would you get involved to the point of becoming engaged and not talk about your true sexual orientation?  This is one case where you need to be straight with your fiancee.  You are wasting each others time in this relationship if you are not meant to be together.

It's important that you tell them as soon as possible, and even though they love you, their reaction may be less than pleasant at first.
