Question:

How Do I Write an Effective Ad That Will Sell A Product?

I am currently working for an online business, and have recently been offered the opportunity to make some money by writing a short promotional ad for various products. I have information all of them, but I want to make sure that I come up with the best material possible that will sell this product and deliver a good "punch line."

I'm not necessarily a bonified "salesperson", so I really need some advice with this level of experience. Since the ad has to be short, it's important that everything in it be effective and good for business, if you get my drift.

Also, if you could give some examples or references along with the advice, that would also be great. Thanks.

  1. In addition to some of the suggestions here, make sure you include "a call to action" - you want the audience to do something (buy your product, use your product, use the coupon, visit your store, etc. - example: one of Nike's call to action is "Just Do It"; another example: Telus phone ad - "Talk Your Face Off.  Any Time. Any 8 Friends."

    Good luck.

  2. Fast, free, Proven is what you need to include in it - obviously it has to be exactly what the product or service will do otherwise people wont trust you.

  3. a catchphrase and 'a question that your product provide solution for' form may be good. hi resolution graphics f the product is a gadget is a must. and other than that, the layout should be clean and conducive for some clicks.
