  1. On the bottom right hand corner of the screen, double click on the time. It will come up to a date and time properties box. The left side is the date and the right side is the time. Just click where the time is and retype the correct time in then click Apply and Ok, and you are all done. :)

Edit: Also, check on the top of the window, there is a tab that is labeled time zone. Click on that and make sure that the time zone is correct for where you are. Good luck!

  2. If you're using Windows XP:

Goto Control Panel > Date, Time, Language and Regional Options

    > Change the Format of numbers, dates and times

    Hit the "customize" button.

    Click the "Time" tab.

Look at the time format, specifically representing the hours.   If it's an upper case H, it specifies displaying the time in 24 hour format (what you're describing).   Changing it to lower case should make the system display a 12 hour AM/PM style clock.

It's also possible there's a BIOS setting that I'm not aware of, so you might want to look there too, if this doesn't work.

  3. Hello From the Tech:

Click on Start > Control Panel and double left click on Language and Regional Settings

Under Regional Settings tab click on Customize IN the new window click on Time Tab and in the drop down of Time Format Choose the type you would like.

    Have a gr8 day,

    NightHawk

  4. right click by clock and go up to adjust time and date...that's it....
