  1. I agree with the last answerer,

there is nothing that you can do about it,

    Here's the thing with me.

I'm 5' 6" but I'm really fast and have alotta stamina and my overall athletisism is better than almost everyone, but I don't get noticed because of my height. So what I did was try doing different things. In basketball for example, I stopped driving in and started shooting threes but I did drive in sometimes still. You might like something but unless your body is suited for it you won't be as great as someone else no matter how hard you try. I'd suggest a tight end position or a running back.

    BTW your exercise routines,

no matter how many things you do that only trains you for that specific thing. So bench press, you bench alot and do it alot, all that is training you to do is push a barbell with weight rings  up 10-15 times. Same with all other workouts, so excessive benching and sit ups will not make you strong for football. It'll make you strong for working out. Btw, sit ups dont do ****, All they do especially that many just help your sit up endurance (AKA ab toning). I'd try more leg raises and planck. Here is an example sorta illustrating what I'm saying. Lets say a guy goes to the gym and bench presses for a month with increasing intensity and the other goes and starts hitting the hitting dummies with increasing intensity. Who's going to be the best tackler? The guy who hits. But ladder runs are so close to the real thing. That makes them an exception.

  2. there is nothing you can do about your height! DE is for a taller player. I'd look to change positions and get ready to make your mark next year at varsity.

  3. it may be your attitude. when ur frustrated, dont show it. i had issues on soccer and the only way my time upped was after i learned to deal with my attitude.

ask him if you can try another position or talk to him again and see if he has anything else you can do.

    good luck, itll get better
