My teacher assigned us summer reading and we have to do a presentation for it. I chose to do a poster and use index cards for the 3-5 minutes presentation. The problem is I am completely stumped on how to make the poster. Can anyone help me with tips and ideas on how to make it? Any ideas on what I should talk about?

  1. Last year, for summer reading that's what I had to do too! I have never read The Mermaid Chair, so I don't know the characters or anything about it. But I recommend that you draw a picture of the main character, and something important from the book, like an even, or another character. Then Write the title of the book at the top of the page. And for the oral presentation, you should cut to the chase but still include facts and details from the story. Set a goal question, on what question you want to answer. And make sure you answer it clearly, and make it (the book) understandable for others, on what you're trying to say. Be creative with the poster and use markers, sparkles, and other utensils. Hope I helped!
