How Do I plan a Cigar Pool Birthday Party?

I need ideas!

For party favors i was planning on getting cigars...

and for the cake i was planning on doing a cigar but please help! its for a 28 year old man. thank you!

Use cigar boxes to hold nuts, candy, chips & pretzels on the buffet table ......  Get some bubble gum cigars for favors too:)  The women might like those better:)  And Bic lighters or cute packages of matches (you can buy boxes of wooden matches in quantity, and make labels on your computer to put on them) ......  Make sure you have enough ash trays around (or use buckets with sand in them)  .....  Brown butcher paper might be a good tablecloth (maybe draw some cigar bands on it)  Natural (ivory or tan) paperware .....

sounds great if that is what he's into. some people may not like the cigar smell so maybe make up a smokers area a little farther away from the main party area- make a sign that says the birthday boys name "Brian's Smoking Lounge" or something.

No no no no no no no a thousand times NO.  Bubble gum cigars are sacrilege to cigar smokers.  Anyone at the party who doesn't like REAL cigars can just suck it up and deal.

The person who answered this knows NOTHING of cigars, obviously.  You do NOT light a cigar with a Bic type lighter.  If you get matches, WOODEN MATCHES ONLY.
