  1. You Tube videos are flash videos (low quality, small size) and they don't make good dvd videos. It needs to be a good MPEG 2 file to make a dvd.

    You could save them on a cd/dvd converted as smaller mpegs, some dvd players play mpeg movies.

  6. You say "your youtube videos". That implies that it was you who created and uploaded them in the first place. If that is the case, can't you just revert to those better quality originals and dump them to DVD - or am I missing something here?
