That's a bad idea because she won't know for sure whether you are going out with her or just friends. It is better to be certain and get a definite YES or a definite NO than a stupid MAYBE. You have to include the words "go out" somewhere and keep it simple so you don't come across as unconfident.

just say "hey, me and some of my friends are going to see how many people we can get to go to the movies, you should come." and ask her to bring some of her friends so it won't be awkward. and then just bring like 2 or 3 friends. and make sure you sit next to her. go for ice cream or something after, and just talk to her alot.

then start doing it alot with less and less friends, eventually (if she likes you enough to keep going to the movies with you) it will just be you two, and you guys will feel like closer friends. :]]
