How Do I type an application that is already printed?

Question

the application is for a school club, but they gave me the hardcopy or paper application in my hand and said that i have to type it..all due on wednesday of this upcoming week.. well, i dont understand if i already have the hardcopy of the application, then how do i type the application? That does not make any sense to me.. so i have the hardcopy but they want me to go back and type it???how do you do that..best answer ten points..help im only a junior in high school!!!!thanks
