How Do I upload A Picture Onto My computer?

I have Canon Powershot A520, i have uploaded pics before, but i have seem to forgot. I have it plugged in and everything, but how do i upload the pics? Should there be a screen popping up, when i plug the cord in? Please help ASAP...

  1. check the camera screen, it might have a button you have to push, or you might have to turn it on before it comes up
