How Do My Background Look?

Question

I painted the background on my 55 gal tank a Navy Blue.

How do it look?

it would have been better to buy a background

now what will you do if the front scratches

you cant exactly turn it around

It look good.  I love caveman talk.

EDIT...it looks good...and people have painted the back of their tanks for a long time now...sometimes it adds to a tank or sets the scene for better background and can bring out the colors of the fish...as well as the colors in the plants and the decor.

You can go either way with the gravel...white with a lot of plants is cool...but you could do the black gravel or even regular sand.  Regardless, looks awesome!

the background looks really nice and you picked a nice color. A painted background is always better than those ugly ones that you get from a petshop. I also painted two of my 29 gallon tanks with a black background and they look so much better than using those ugly backgrounds.  I see we are hosting our pics on the same site lol. wow!!!!!!! thats nice =D i wish i could do that but i dont have any paint. i use a backround with plants on it. yeah, my backround is super old and ugly but thats nice!!!!!!!!!!!! serioulsy!!!!!!!!!

That darker color is sure to show of your fishies quite nicely, especially with a bright light.

Its ok but man you shouldn't have painted it, Because in local pet shop they sell poster that you can put in the background of your fish tanks which look amazing.

I know lots of people answering this question may be lying to you so they can earn those 10points but i'm just saying the truth.

It looks ok to me But shouldn't have painted it.
