  1. Tracks and the wheels of the coaster are magnetic

  2. The trains are "attached" to the tracks by means of a wheel assembly on the axles that sorta "hug" the track rails..

On top of the rails, you have what are called "running" wheels.  These wheels are what your car is riding on as it traverses the course.

In the center of the wheel assembly are the "guide" wheels, which prevent side-to-side motion; in other words, these keep the coaster train on the straight and narrow, so to speak.  On wooden coasters, these would be found on the inside of the rails; steel coasters have them either on the inside or the outside of the rails, depending on how the track is designed.

Underneath the rails are the "upstop" wheels, which keep the trains from lifting off the rails.  Some coaster vehicles, especially those built in the 60s, just have "upstops" with pads, instead of actual wheels.

  3. magnetic wheels and tracks. And when going upside down, gravity. Dont worry Rollecoasters are awesome :)

  4. You don't need to worry to much.  You will be fine.
