How Do U Take Off Caramelized Sugar From A Pan?

I made caramelized sugar in a pan and when i used the caramel what was left in the pan hardened and wont come off. Does anyone have any idea how to get it off?

  1. soap and super hot water.. let it soak


  2. soak in soap and hot or boiling water for a long time while it is soaking every once and a while scrape it with a metal spatula

  3. soak in water or add a bit of baking soda and vinegar to the pan and let it set. (white vinager)

  4. just clean the heck out of it

  5. Pour in water and bring it back to a boil on the stovetop.  You can also add in liquid soap.  The hot water will soften the caramelized sugar and you can then pour it out with the hot water.

  6. fill the pan with water and let it simmer into a boil, then clean as usual.
