I recently got another desktop and I want to erase all the songs in my ipod since the songs are old anyway.

How do I erase them and how do I add new songs to my ipod.

  1. You can try this software to backup songs, videos, photos in iPod to PC, copy iPod songs, videos, photos to new ipod, computer or notebook.

  2. manually manage your music or restore your ipod.

  3. you can't.

  4. The only way I know of to do this is to install your iTunes onto the new computer, otherwise the best youre gonna get when you plug your ipod to it is:

...open folder and view contents. You can click delete for the songs you find, but the songs will still be there

If the computer already has iTunes, and your ipod is not registered with it, then itunes is gonna ask you to sync the empty library and your ipod, so that your ipod becomes completely blank.

If you can get in a copy of your itunes with your library and the ID for your ipod (with your itunes), you can check and uncheck songs that you do/dont want.

Theres no way to transfer the songs from the ipod to a computer, then sort it out (I guess thats part of the no-free-music movement).

You need your original library and your itunes
