How Do You Remove The Two Rear Deck Speakers In The Back Of My Subaru Impreza

I have a 2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS coupe and I want to change the speakers. I know how to get to the two front ones but the two rear ones are like impossible. I tried unscrewing the three big screws on the top of the mounting area but i dont know how to get the whole mounting wood up and out so i can get two unscrewing the speakers and i don't wants to brake the speaker's tops. HELP!

the trim pad is held down with clips, they are very hard. you need a trim clip popper tool. I usually break a couple of clips and get a rattle sound after I put it back on. So good luck to you.

You should be able to open the trunk and get them from there without any trouble.
