  1. have you tried disciplining your kid?

  2. Make her pay for the long distance calls that's what my mom has us do, so we don't talk on the phone long distance very long

  3. You really want the kid to be able to use the phone, so don't block it in any way. What if there is an emergency and he can't use it....

You have to teach him (or her) how to properly use the phone, and discipline them so that they don't make random long distance calls. Most kids do imitate their parents, maybe if you didn't talk on the phone so much he wouldn't be making the calls...try that !!!!

  4. Our phone has a babylock option.

  5. yes, get a DECT 6.0 digital phone there have it all build in!!!

with just one button you can disable the phone!!

  6. phone up your service provider and tell them the problem. they will then give you a code to use that you have to enter into your phone before any one can dial out.memorize this code and hey presto problem solved.

  7. well it depends what phone it is. try to put a password for going into the phone, then call it. if u can answer the phone with bypassing the passord security, then the phone is going to accept only incoming calls. But the only problem you will have is that you wont be able to do anything else on the phone because of the passsword. Just look at the manuel. you can also ty to cal the company and tell them your situation and they will probably give you a code to put on the phone.

  8. I know that kids like to talk on the phone but do you think that it is a good idea to block?what if an emergency came up and she could not call anyone.Try something else, like Telling her that she is only allowed to talk for so many minutes per day and that if she does't  comply to rules, not only will you take phone privileges away but other  privileges as well until she acts responsible.
