How Do You Use An Image For A Rank In PHPBB3?

I'm new to phpbb3 and i was wondering can you use images (e.g.stars) for ranks?

You can use just about any image that is sized correctly as a rank. In the ACP, go to the Users and Groups Tab, there you can select ranks you have uploaded to the proper folder. The folder is /images/ranks, and you have to upload the images through your FTP service.
