So, I hate these blinds, and I have no idea how to make them go down.

The strings are all but retarded, and I'm tired of them and about to rip them out of the wall.

There are three strings, I can't figure them out at all, help?

  1. there are three strings ... one for the middle and one each side....first untangle them... grab them all together and start by pulling them up a little to release the cog (brake) located at the top (where they go in to the top) and pull them to the right side.

pulling it to the left will put the cog (brake) back on when you are ready to raise them or reach the height you want them at.

when you get them released and as low as they go... and straight.... grab the three strings and tie a knot in them as close to the top as you can.....(all together).... this will keep them from tangling later. you can also do several knots all the way down... these blinds are the kind that are  danger to small children as they can get there head in the cord and strangle.. i would suggest a knot every 4 inches if you have kids.

good luck...lol...... i know your pain

  2. pull some to the left to 'unlock' them. Pull to the right when they are at the correct high to 'lock' them back

  3. Just hold the draw strings on the right, pull them toward the center of the window, gravity will bring the blinds down until you stop the strings and then pull back to the right and it will lock in that position. The plastic rod on the left will rotate the blind to either up or down. If you let the blind all the way down and get the draw strings straight, tie them together then they will be straight across where you stop them.

  4. The strings to the right make the blinds go up and down. Pull them out and release and they will lower. Pull them out, then up then release and they will go up. The plastic rod on the left gets twisted to open and close the slats

  5. As you pull the cord downward slightly pull it to the left or right, then let it drop.

  6. Take all three strings and pull them together from an outward angle towards the left side of the window and let go.

I usually get the best results that way.

  7. Lol well i think you'll pull the string to the right and then that should work it works for me. Lol
