Question:

How Do i go about getting a Scottish / UK Citizenship?

I've looked every where and i cant find anything. i know i qualify since i am for sure first generation canadian and my dad was born in scotland and so was my grandparents, my mom is scottish just ways away down the line, i just want to know where to go to apply/ get more information

  4. Have a look at the UK embassy in Canada - Ottawa and the British Home Office. Paperwork generally required is your birth cert, dad&#039;s birth cert, dad&#039;s expired/current UK passport, parents marriage cert.

    Be warned that applying for British citizenship is a bit expensive. Your looking at a $1006.94 Canadian dollars to get citizenship. I don&#039;t think you apply for British citizenship because you&#039;re eligible via descent. You just get the passport. It&#039;s so much cheaper at $289 Canadian.
