My little girl is starting School for the first time and we want her to go to this Amazing Christian School and We're just not able to make it. I cut back on everything extra we have and we are still about $75 short. It's $150 a month and so I was thinking about looking for a Sponsor but I don't have a clue where to look. Any Ideas?

Thanks :)

  1. Well a sponsor may be difficult to find unless your child has a godparent of family member that would like to contribute. First pray, ask God to send provision. There are also a few options you can consider. Here are a few ideas:

    1. Ask the school of there are any discounts, grants, or scholarships available. Believe it or not many private schools, even the small ones, do offer these programs.

    2. Maybe a partial discount could be attained by volunteering some of your time to the school.

    3. Ask if you can pay tuition on a 12 month plan rather than the 10-month Sep-June plan. This would make the payments $125 per month, not a big difference but if things are tight it does help.

    4. Speak with your accountant... there may be a way of claiming this on your taxes and as a result getting extra money in your refund that can go towards the tuition.

    5. $150/ month x 10 months is $1500 if this is the annual tuition, maybe your tax refund would be enough to pay her tuition upfront or at least half which would bring you to $75 per month.

Hope this helps. Also, I think sending your daughter to a Christian School is a wonderful idea. I went to a Christian elementary school and a child and I believe it has helped to shape the person I have become today and will be tomorrow.
