How Do you get a home daycare license in IL?

My sister and I were very interested in beginning an at home day care. What are the steps we have to take and how would we achieve getting our license? If someone could please give us some advice and instructions i would sooo greatly appreciate it!

You get a day care license from the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. There’s no tests, just forms and inspections. DCFS has forms that you fill out, and they inspect your home when you apply. The license is free, and it lasts for 3 years.
