Is there  a professional Indian or Pakistani snooker player?

If we're talking about professionals then i'd say they dont rank very highly, one reason being no one outside their respective country's  knows one. I can  however think of one good player from India , at both snooker and billiards, Arvind Savur, who got into the second round of the Norwich Union competition in 1973, and had a lot of success in his own country between the mid 60's and late 70's. Although not well known in this country, you 'd still have to rate him , or at least put him on snookers "radar"
