  1. cause of the vitamins and stuff

  2. Spinach and green leafy vegetables help improve eyesight nutritionally. They are rich in carotenoids -- specially lutein and zeaxathin.

Carotenoids are pigments that give color to plant parts such as ripe tomatoes and autumn leaves. Lutein is a yellow pigment that protects the macula (part of the eye with greatest visual acuity) from sun damage. Lutein is also found in egg yolks.

  3. Spinach is high in vitamin A which is good for your eyes. I don't think it will improve your eyesight, but it will help maintain your current vision levels better. In the developing world, vitamin A deficiencies are the leading cause of blindness.

  4. Spinach or any other foods will NOT  improve eyesight.

Any vitamins that are good for general health are good for eye health also, but that doesn't mean an improvement in vision.

Vitamins cannot change the shape of your eyes.
